Result and Success Fields
When you perform a command, the last screen in your workflow presents you with a results list. This table provides details of what the results mean. All result fields are listed here for all ERT and meter types and any command you might perform. They are listed in alphabetical order.

Active Period During Wakeup | The length of time in which the ERT or meter stays awake and is available for downlink traffic communication after waking from PSM. |
APN Name | The Access Point Name (APN) for the gateway used between the cellular service provider and the network. Important: For some meter and ERT types, this field's value is a link to open additional info. The additional info values are listed alphabetically within this table. |
Application Configuration | The current .zip application configuration file attached to the device. |
Audit Mode Duration | The number of minutes the device remains in Audit Mode. While in Audit Mode, the device will bubble-up every four seconds. |
Auto Wake Up Enabled | Whether the Automatic Factory Mode Wakeup on Pulses Detected setting is enabled or not.

Automatic Disconnect (Intelis Gas Meters, Openway Riva Intelis Gas Meters, and Gen5 Intelis Gas Meters only) | If the meter's Automatic High Flow Shutoff programming is enabled, indicates if a high flow alarm was initiated. Volume flow checks that detect more than 0.18 CF (5L) initiate an automatic disconnect. High Flow Not Detected. A high flow alarm is not initiated. Auto High Flow Shutoff Or Automatic High Flow Shutoff | Whether the meter is programmed to shut off automatically in response to a high flow event.

Auto High Temperature Shutoff Or Automatic High Temperature Shutoff | Whether the meter is programmed to shut off automatically in response to a high temperature event.

Backflow Register (Intelis Water Meters only) | The current reading of the meter's backflow consumption register. No backflow register. The meter does not support recording backflow consumption. |
Band Bitmap | A bitmap that restricts the modem to searching specific frequency bands for a cellular carrier network. |
Battery Status | The state of the meter or ERT battery's electrical charge.

Battery Utilization Threshold | Micro-coulomb threshold used to protect the cellular modem in the device from consuming too much energy when attempting transmiossion. When the threshold is exceeded, the device stops transmitting and puts the cellular modem into airplane mode to conserve battery. |
Bubble Up or Bubble Up Rate
| How often the ERT automatically transmits, or bubbles up, its SCM. The meaning of the value in this field varies by ERT type. See the ERT's documentation for details. Occasionally, for some ERTs that don't support bubble-up mode, a value of Disabled displays. |
Carrier Operator ID | The name of the cellular service provider and its associated number. The number is based on the country where you are receiving service. |
Carrier PDP Type | The packet data protocol (PDP) networking type the cellular service provider uses to transmit data using Internet Protocol. |
CE Address Index | The current CE address offset index. |
Cellular Data Context | A particular data context supported by the cellular modern for a particular carrier. |
Configuration Tag | The current OWOC configuration attached to the device. |
Count Rate | The metrology value used with PCOMP, rollover, and counts to calculate the consumption value. Count Rate is displayed only if Field Tools is unable to determine the meter configuration. If you were not required to enter the meter's number of dials and billing units during the Check Endpoint command, then Count Rate is not returned in the Check Endpoint response. |

Current Backoff | The connection retry backoff value, in seconds, when the Network Status is one other than Joined or Idle. |
Current Meter Pressure | The current pressure gauge reading from the Intelis Gas Meter. A value is returned only for Intelis Gas Meters that support the internal pressure gauge feature. A returned value of Not Supported means the meter does not support the internal pressure gauge feature. |
Current Gas Temperature | The current temperature reading and unit of measure for both Celsius and Fahrenheit. or A description of how the current gas temperature relates to the temperature threshold: Temperature Below Threshold. Cut Detected | Whether or not the ERT has detected a cut cable. (For the 100G, this applies to remote-mount modules only.)

Device IP Address | No Cell Connection. Indicates the Itron cellular module is currently not connected to a cellular service provider's network. |
Device Type/Subtype | The meter or ERT's device type and subtype: for example, OW Riva 500G ERT Module/Remote. |
DLCA Certificate Serial Number | The serial number for the driver's license certificate authority (DLCA) that issued the driver's license (DL) to the ERT module to allow it to become a member of the network. |
DL Certificate Serial Number | The serial number for the driver's license (DL) issued to the ERT module to allow it to become a member of the network. |
Display Units | The meter's selected unit of measure for volume: Imperial. Volume measured in centum cubic feet (CCF) and flow rate expressed in cubic feet per hour (CFH). Metric. Volume measured in cubic meters per hour (M³) and flow rate expressed in cubic meters per hour (CMH). |
Encoder Driver | The product name or version number of the ERT's encoder driver, which is used to decode register data. |
Encoder Firmware | The meter encoder's firmware version number. |
Encoder Fixed Firmware | The meter encoder's fixed firmware version number. |
Endpoint Functions Correctly | Indicates if the ERT is registered correctly.

Encoder Latency (Encoded registers only) | How often the ERT attempts to communicate with the encoder register to collect a reading. The default setting is 1 hour:
Important: Setting encoder latency to more frequent than 1 hour significantly reduces the ERT's battery life. |
Encoder NLR Firmware | The meter encoder's non-legally relevant (NLR) firmware version. |
Endpoint ID | The identification number of the ERT or meter that was read, checked, or programmed. |
Endpoint Reading | The meter reading, as indicated by the ERT. Note: For 100G ERTs, a No Read result is returned if a cut cable tamper is discovered. Important: For some ERT and meter types, this field's value is a link to reformat the endpoint reading. The formatting fields are listed alphabetically within this table. |
Endpoint Subtype | The endpoint subtype; for example, 100G DL. Note: 100W+-P indicates that the ERT is a 100W+ with an attached peripheral device, such as a leak sensor. |

Granted PSM Configuration | These parameters record the values for PSM TAU Cycle and Active Period During Wakeup that have been granted by the cellular tower. |
Headend IP Address | The IP address for the cellular service provider's headend. |
High Flow | The status of the meter's gas flow as it relates to high flow thresholds:

High Flow Aggregation Window | The rolling window over which a high flow event is determined. |
High Flow Sampling Frequency | How often flow is sampled for a high flow event. |
High Flow Threshold | The threshold at which the high flow event is considered high. |
High Temperature | The status of the meter's temperature reading as it relates to high temperature thresholds: High Temperature Not Detected. Important: For some meter types, this field's value is a link to open additional info. The additional info values are listed alphabetically within this table. |
High Temperature Threshold | The threshold at which the temperature is considered high. |
Hop Config | Indicates the hop configuration the ERT uses to randomize the communication channels over which it transmits its bubble-up messages:

ICCID | The integrated circuit card ID (ICCID) is the unique serial number for the Itron cellular device's internal SIM card. |
IMEI | The international mobile equipment identity (IMEI) is a unique 15-digit number associated with the Itron cellular device. |
IMSI | The international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) is a unique number identifying the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) operator. |
Initial Network Scan | Parameter for configuring the backoff policy for network scanning during the initial network scan. |
Initial Reading Programmed | The meter reading on the register, at the time the meter was last programmed. |
Last Auto Disconnect Trigger | If the meter has experienced an auto disconnect, the condition that caused it. For more information, see Valve Operations in the Intelis Gas Family of Meters. |
Last Operation Detail | Any further details Field Tools provides about the Last Operation Result. |
Last Operation Time | The date and time at which the last operation occurred. |
Last Command Sent or Last Operational Result | The most recent command performed on the meter. |
Last Command Status or Last Successful Condition | The current status of the valve as a result of the last performed command: Service Disconnected. The valve is closed and gas flow is stopped. Valve Armed. The valve is primed to open when the meter's hardware button is pressed. Arm Failed. The last command sent was Arm for Connection, but Field Tools was unable to successfully perform the command. Service Connected. The valve is open and gas is flowing. Restricted. The valve is open and water is flowing at 10-90% of it regular flow. Connected. The valve is open and water is flowing. Disconnected. The valve is closed and water flow is stopped. Automatic Disconnect. The meter's high-flow or high temperature sensor detected a high flow or high temperature event and the meter automatically performed a shutoff command. Last Good Read | The last meter reading as indicated by the ERT before it started reporting No Read or Invalid (stuck digit). This response field displays only for 100 series water ERTs whose Endpoint Reading field is reported as No Read or Invalid (stuck digit). |
Leak Detected (100W) |

Leak Period | The time interval, in hours, the ERT uses to determine whether there has been a leak, as defined by the Leak Threshold value. For example, assume the Leak Period value is 168 and the Leak Threshold value is 0. In this case, the ERT must detect at least one count-switch closure per hour, every hour, for seven consecutive days before indicating a leak. The default Leak Period value is 168. |
Leak Sensor Or Leak Sensor Info | Whether or not the ERT has a leak sensor:

Leak Threshold | The number of meter count-switch closures per hour, per leak period that indicates a leak. If the number of count-switch closures per hour during the period specified in the Leak Period field is less than or equal to the Leak Threshold value, the ERT considers the flow of water to be zero (no leak). If the number of count-switch closures per hour during this period is above the Leak Period value, the ERT considers it to be a non-zero flow. The default Leak Threshold value is 0. |

MAC Current Backoff | When the Network Status is in the Joining state, this is the current backoff value, in seconds, for the MAC parent selection process. |
MAC Current Retries | When the Network Status is in the Joining state, this is the current number of retries the MAC has made in the MAC parent selection process. |
MAC Status | The status of the parent selection process when the Network Status is in the Joining state. When the Network Status is not in the Joining state, this status is not useful. The status can be one of the following:

Magnetic Tamper(100G) | The ERT or meter's magnetic tamper value, which increments whenever the module is exposed to a strong external magnetic field. Exposure to a magnetic field can result in under-reported consumption or even cause the ERT module to stop counting. This value does not automatically reset when the module is programmed. Valid values are 0-3. Note: On 100G remote-mount ERT modules, the cut cable tamper replaces the magnetic tamper. |
Manufacturer | The modem manufacturer of the cellular modem in the Itron cellular ERT. Or The manufacturer of the water meter on which the water ERT is installed. |
Maximum Backoff | The maximum interval, in seconds, between network scans. |
MDN Number | The mobile directory number (MDN) assigned to the Itron cellular device upon activation. A value of No Cell Connection indicates that the device is not yet activated by a cellular service provider. |
Measurement Unit Firmware CRC | The CRC of the measurement unit firmware. |
Meter Configuration | The meter's make and number of dials and unit of measure, as indicated by the ERT. |
Meter Reading | The meter reading, as indicated by the ERT. Note: For 100G ERTs, a No Read result is returned if a cut cable tamper is discovered. |

Projected Remaining Years | The meter's estimated remaining years of battery life, calculated based on the current Battery Counter value, which takes into account battery usage due to past ERT operations. PSM TAU Cycle | The tracking area update (TAU) period defines the time over which the device will stay in power saving mode (PSM). When the TAU timer expires the devices wakes up to refresh its connection to the cellular tower and to make itself available for downllink traffic communication. |
Pulse Factor | The number by which the ERT multiplies the number of meter pulses to convert it into a usage value. |

Rollover | The maximum possible meter reading before the dials roll over to zero. The number of nines shown in this field corresponds to the number of meter dials. This setting is used with PCOMP, count rate, and counts to calculate the consumption value. |
Scheme | Specifies whether to use a linear or exponential backoff scheme when scanning for a network. |

Service Control State | The latest requested state of the meter's shutoff valve.

Signal Path Loss | The path loss of power density. |
Signal To Noise Ratio | The level of signal compared to the level of background noise. |
SSID | The Service Set Identifier (SSID). Indicates the current Radio Frequency Local Area Network (RFLAN) setting the ERT or meter is set to use to connect to a network. |
Step | When the Scheme value is set to linear, this defines the interval increment, in seconds, between scans. |
Tamper Detection Values | The values detected for each of the device's available tamper events. Important: For some meter types, this field's value is a link to open additional info. The additional info values are listed alphabetically within this table. |
Tampers and Events | The number of tamper events recorded by the meter. Important: For some ERT and meter types, this field's value is a link to open a list of the device's current tampers and events. For more information, see Tampers and Events. Important: For 100W ERTs and for OpenWay Riva 500W ERT Modules operating in Mobile Mode, the View Event Log command is embedded within the Check and Read command's workflow Result and Success fields. Select View Event Log to re-engage the radio's communication with the ERT, and get the ERT's event log. The event log is viewable on the mobile device. Tilt Tamper(100G) | The number of tilt tampers detected (0-3). |
Tilt Debounce | The amount of time required for the mechanical contact on the tilt switch to settle before a signal from the switch is considered valid by the device. This setting is used to adjust the sensitivity of the meter removal tamper indicator. Tilt debounce values correspond to milliseconds (ms) as follows: 0. No tilt 1. 100 ms 2. 250 ms 3.500 ms |
Time Drift | The hours, minutes, and seconds fast or slow the ERT module is, in relation to the actual time. |
Tracking Area Code |

Truncation | The number of least-significant (rightmost) digits (0-3) by which the module is programmed to truncate the meter reading. This value is required to prevent high-resolution readings recorded by nine-dial water registers from overflowing the ERT module's datalogging buckets. The overflow potential pertains primarily to commercial accounts that consume high volumes of water. |
Type | The ERT model: for example, 100G. |
Utility ID | The utility ID number assigned to your utility by Itron. This is a unique security code ranging from 0 to 32767 that prevents another utility from performing certain functions on an ERT module. If you enter a number greater than 32767, an error displays and you cannot save the utility ID. |
Valve Actuation Count | The total number of times the module has opened or closed. This number includes operations performed as battery overrides and temperature override commands. |
Valve Override | Indicates if the valve's current open or closed state is resulted from use of the valve override command.
